A Cable Tensioner consists of two horizontally or vertically opposed caterpillar tracks connected to a common sub-frame. One track is fixed while the other operates on a sliding arrangement, allowing hydraulic pressure to apply controlled gripping force against the cable or umbilical. This design allows the cable to remain centered through the cleat-style tracks while maintaining consistent tension throughout the operation.
